Waste Electronic Equipment Recycling
SDTI shoulders the responsibility of end-of-life computer recycling and processing in northern Taiwan.
Since August 1999, the company has been officially approved by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) Recycling Fund Management Board as a certified waste information equipment recycling plant. SDTI’s operations are regularly audited and verified by on-site EPA representatives to ensure full compliance with environmental standards and proper waste-handling procedures.
Currently, the EPA’s designated recyclable items include desktop computer mainframes, monitors, and laptops, with printers being subsequently added to the list.
In line with its strong environmental philosophy, SDTI spares no expense in adopting mechanical grinding processes for the treatment of waste information products, minimizing dependence on incineration and landfill methods. This approach not only prevents secondary pollution but also fully embodies SDTI’s commitment to the realization of resource recycling and circular sustainability.
